Please treat the facilities and other guests as you would like to be treated. Sound carries on the walkways and through the walls, so please be considerate of your neighbors.

Minimum Stay
There is a two night minimum stay at Marina del Mar. Holiday weekends have a three night minimum. It is your responsibility to be aware of our reservation terms and conditions.

Check-In and Check-Out Time
Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. We do have a late check-in procedure if you will be later than 5:00 p.m. Please let us know if you will be a late arrival. Check-in is normally 3:00 p.m., unless the unit is ready earlier. Check-out must be no later than 11:00 a.m. on the date of departure.

If you are not checked-out by 11:00 a.m. and have not coordinated the extended delay with the rental office, you may accrue a charge of $25.00 for each hour, or a portion thereof, that is beyond your check-out time.

Security Deposits
Security deposits are refunded 21 days after check-out.

Extra person charge is $10.00 per person, per day. Children under 2 are not charged.

Parking
Limited parking space within the confines of the Marina del Mar complex does not permit the parking of trucks, campers or boats. Pick-up trucks, vans and campers under 18 feet in length are permitted.

Vehicle parking space becomes very critical during the summer season and holiday weekends. Therefore, all vehicles are to be registered and assigned to either a reserved or unreserved parking space, once registered, you must display your parking permit on your dashboard at all times.

Renters are limited to one vehicle for a single bedroom unit. For the larger units, two-bedroom, three bedroom & penthouse, two vehicles are allowed.

We do not have "Visitor" parking. Please inform your visitors to park off-site. A vehicle parked in a space reserved or assigned to someone else is subject to be towed away at owner's expense.

Pets
No pets are allowed in the units or on the premises, except certified seeing-eye dogs.

Security
Marina del Mar is not responsible for the security of guests' personal property. Please keep all doors and windows closed and locked during your absence from the unit. There is a safe in the office in case of need.

Towels and Linen
Clean linen and a set of towels per registered guest will be in the unit upon your arrival. Guests must pay for linen and towels over and above these limits. BEACH TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. There are coin operated washers and dryers on every floor.

Cleaning Supplies
Dishwasher detergent, dish soap, hand soap, toilet tissue and trash liners are in the unit upon your arrival. You must provide your own when those limited supplies are exhausted.

Unit Condition upon Check-out
We do not expect you to clean the unit from top to bottom, but we do hope the unit will be in similar condition as when you arrived. The carpets should be free of spots/spills. All dishes, pots and pans must be washed and placed neatly in the cabinets. Appliances must be free of grease and spillage of food. All trash must be removed from the unit and placed in the trash containers located at the north end of the complex.

There will be a charge for the removal of trash or extra-ordinary cleaning that must be done by housekeeping.

Unit Inventory
An inventory of the unit will be conducted following your check-out. You will be held responsible for any broken, damaged or missing items.

Use of Balcony Railings
The City of Oceanside has an ordinance prohibiting items on railings. Please do not drape swim suits, wet suits, towels, etc. over the balcony railings.

Swimming Pool/Lifeguards
Lifeguards are not provided for the pool and hot tub area. Children must be supervised at all times. Wet suits are not allowed in the pool or hot tub.

Telephone Use
NO CALLS ARE TO BE BILLED TO THE CONDO. LOCAL CALLS ARE FREE. All long distance calls must be placed by calling collect, using your credit card or billing a third number.

Miscellaneous

  • No skateboarding or rollerblading on the property.
  • Hairdryers are not provided.
  • Outdoor barbeques are not allowed on any of the patios, balconies or decks.
  • Air-conditioning is not available in any of the condominium units.
  • All unites are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on patios or balconies only.
  • No bicycles allowed in the condo units.
  • The garbage disposals are fragile. Please handle them with care.
